  This hotel is more like the size of a B&B, with 4 rooms and a lobby in the middle, as part of a larger building. The rooms are great. Very modern and large, with comfortable beds. This hotel is only 2-3 blocks from the coliseum, as well as the colosseo metro stop.   The reason I chose this hotel was the fabulous location - when in Rome,I spend most of my time at the ancient monuments, and this place is right at the bottom of the via Cavour, literally a minute or two from the Roman and Imperial Fora. I had a deluxe room and it was lovely - faciltities were good, nice shower, tv, safe, fridge - all you would ne... hva folk sier » ed. Everything was clean and though the style of decor would, for some, probably be a little out of date, I thought it was quite charming. Note though - Once we arrived the staff was prompt and happy to greet us. Though we didn't speak Italian they spoke enough English to communicate perfectly. The stay was great, we decided we needed to stay a second night without booking it and they ensured me it wasn't a problem offering me the same rate. Ana Paola and Luigi were extremely polite and helpful. The location is right dead in the heart of Ancient Rome, absolutely amazing for the price. Tons of restaurants and bars close as well.

  We absolutely LOVED House Monti!! In fact, on an 8 month trip around the world this is one of my top rooms! Located right in the heart of Rome - literally 5min walk or less from the Colosseum and so close to everything else it was perfect - we walked everywhere! Though if you need the Metro is right there. The staff was really serviceminded and helped us call about our luggage since we weren't able to recieve it when we were on a guided tour. High speed free internet.   We had a very pleasant stay in the B&B Roma Central. Our room was more than big enough for two guests, very clean and very cozy. And in addition the balcony was a great benefit. The room has a fridge and a TV with nearly endless channels in different languages. There is a great supply of very good and not too expensive restaurants nearby the apartment. So, everything was - B & B Roma, was everything we expected. Good location, close enough to the train station to collect our car, near the metro, but in excellent walking distance of most of the sites of Rome. The apartment was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated, with tea and coffee making facilities, fridge and hairdryer. We were contacted in advance and offered various options for a transfer to the hotel from the airport, and chose a private driver who was there and waiting for us.   We had two days in Rome and this was the perfect hotel for it. Location: Less than a 10 minute walk to Trevi Fountain. We were able to easily walk to the Coliseum/Roman Forum, Spanish Steps and Pantheon (and take the hop-on, hop-off bus to the Vatican). We were even able to see most sites both during the day and at night (Coliseum and Trevi are... hva folk sier » especially impressive at night). The shopping and restaurants near Trevi Fountain were great. We especially liked being able to site-see during the - The whole experience was fantastic. We felt as thought we were exclusive, within the luxurious estate, and could not fault the prompt assistance from the staff. The breakfast was superb. Recommendations by staff , including bookings for restaurants were also well managed. Our room was a Palatial size bedroom and ensuite complete with deep bath. 24 hour concierge was also a secure comfort. Highly recommended for a stay.
