  the staff at this hotel were great. We were greeted and welcomed from the moment that we touched the front door. The front desk staff were great at making suggestions, helping with bookings etc. I stayed at another "big chain" hotel in Rome earlier in the trip, and the the service between the 2 was like night and day. All of the main sites were within walking distance, only the Vatican was a bit far, but we used the tour bus on our visit. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. The room clean and great shower, the breakfast perfect, plenty to eat and lots of choice. Local restaurant and bar fantastic value.

They arranged for a van to come to where we our cruise ship landed and was plenty big enough for seven pieces of luggage and four passengers.   Great location! We were able to walk to almost everywhere. Close to all of the historical sights, food and shopping. If you could not get there by foot, the subway and busses were easily accessible. The staff were absolutely amazing! You felt like you were visiting family.   Loved having breakfast delivered to our room at a time that we specified. It was quiet, within walking distance to all major sites and all staff was great but you would be hard pressed to find anyone more helpful than Rosanna. My wife was very happy with the ear rings. Thanks! Though no tea/coffee making in room, just had to ask and espresso was delivered, gratis. A nice touch.
