At the arrival not so sure about this place.
Once we met the owner (Manuela) it became "the peaceful oasis". Food/advice/information = ONLY the best from Manuela!

Owner was most helpful and provided the best restaurant recommendation we have EVER had! How the food was supplied at the quality and price I still don't understand. The location seems a bit dodgy at first glance but it is metres from the main drag leading to the atmospheric historical highlights. All in all a pretty cool establishment. -

I had no idea when I booked this place that it was an old baron's palazzo! The reception has frescoes, gold leaf and antique furniture all in the baroque style. The rooms are tastefully decorated too, with tiled floors and beautiful furniture. My room also had a balcony facing Via Etnea. It is remarkably well situated, mere minutes away by foot from everything of interest. In addition, the gentleman who runs the place is SO nice! If you stay here, be sure to follow his restaurant recommendation

The location is great. The rooms are value for money but are basic in
terms of comfort. They are cleaned every day, the towels are changed
daily as well. The kettle and tea, coffee, sugar are available for
common use in the corridor. The chambermaid found and returned to us the
clothes left behind in a hurry. Many thanks to her!!!!!! There is some
noise from the nearby cafes but we didn't mind it))
