It is an extraordinary property. Much of the original architecture still exists which makes it a very unique place. The location and view are unbelievable, the rooftop pool and garden are gorgeous, and the food is excellent. Hotel is very clean (just opened) run as a family business. Enjoy a look down colorful Via Toledo from the small balcony at reception. Ideal for business and for tourism.

All the reception staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. In particular, they were kind enough to let us leave our heavy suitcases with them while we went to Capri for two days even though we weren't coming back to stay there. Ilaria (I hope I have the name right - the English version of Hilary I think) was particularly helpful to us.

An excellent hotel, very well located. Most important attractions are walking distance away as are the Railway Station and the Ferry Wharf. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help me plan my trips to the Amalfi coast, Capri et al. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Seem to be newly done up. The morning breakfast was very nice and while it was an excellent Prosecco instead of Champagne, I certainly had no complaints. Some excellent pizzerias nearby. All in all a very pleasant

In 2 weeks traveling around Italy, this is the best, without a doubt.
The staff could not be faulted, rooms were modern and very clean,
breakfast was the best continental buffet, and for the older part of the
city, location was great. For further afield, a short walk to the Metro.
Wins on all aspects of a great stay. Make sure you have an address in
Italian, because it is a little hard to find 1'st time.
ps. Skip Pompeii and go to Herculeum.
