  The set-up is a bit weird, there is no actual hotel lobby. Instead you are given keys by the staff of the Ippoppotamo restaurant. But, then you are led to the back of the hotel and to your own private room and wow! The hotel isn't cheap but it surely is worth every cent! From the friendly staff, the amazing ala carte breakfast (it's like buffet a... hva folk sier » ctually, where you can eat as much as you want, except that the food is served by the waitresses, amazing pizza omelette and chocolate muffins), the b - - Location is right in the centre of the city (Piazza Bra). But it`s not really close to railway station, if you have a luggage it`s better to take a taxi (7,5 eur). - The room was big, clean, quiet and very stylish as well. - The staff was friendly.   Very year I stay at the Leon D'oro for the trade show in Vicenza in May. Its location close to the station is a plus and the walk to verona Centro is pleasant. I lobby is very welcoming and the recent changes is very refreshing. We really enjoyed our stay there. Décor, rooms, lobby, everything was beautiful. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here upon our return to Verona in the future.   Breakfast was great and they offered this shuttle service at night to goto Arena, which is 25 minutes on foot. But, this service was onlyoffered because there were Opera show there!!! - The reception staff were particularly helpful and informative.
