The breakfast buffet was above average and the free wine and snacks during happy hour were a nice touch. The room was larger than most we have seen in Italy and it had a safe in it, which was great as well.

We booked a budget room but were upgraded, for a small negotiable additional charge, to a better room which had wonderful views over Lago Albino and facilities outside in which to relax and enjoy the view.

The breakfast while traditional was superb. The pastries were absolutely
wonderful and were accompanied by your choice of beverages, yogurt,
bread and homemade jam, and a hardboiled egg.
The dog, Lu-La, while a Giant Canne Corso, is a cream puff who loves to be petted and will follow you all around the property but not into any of the facilities.

I booked this hotel just a day or so before as we decided to stay in Frascoti rather than Rome.. We had had excellentluck with the hotels that we had booked before on bookings.com and this certainly held true with this one as well.
