  Staff extremely friendly, they could not do enough for us! Good suggestions on what to see, where to eat etc. Views from our balcony-were to die for. Watching twilight happen over the lake and Bellagio and then night fall- it was magic.   This small hotel (11 rooms) was stylishly renovated about three years ago so that the Victorian ambience remains but now provides modern comforts. The swimming pool--behind the hotel in the hillside gardens-- overlooks the Lago di Como; it was very relaxing to spend the afternoon there. On the day of our departure, Pablo allowed us to leave the car in the garage so that we could visit the Villa Carlotta; we - This is a family run business that have put significant effort into restoring this Villa. They take pride in serviciing their Customers and are very helpful in answering questions. The views of Lake Como are awesome. This is a place to relax away from the crowded cities. Suggest you use the hotel car service if you are coming from Como. Also suggest you use the Ferry day pass to tour the lake towns (15 Euro). The dinners at gc were excellent quality.

  Great location close to a ferry stop. Quiet and beautiful views from the terrace. This is a great apartment with a house feel. Perfect for large families although we were just two couples so we had plenty of space to sprawl out. Loved the mounted cd player for a little music while we were relaxing on the balcony. Sara is very helpful and took care... hva folk sier » of any issues we had. They had a nice folder with area information if you are looking to tour around. The apt was a bit tricky to find but worth it. - flat was in excellent location overlooking Lake Como. Restaurants in close vicinity. Lake ferry close. Flat itself was modern with large balcony, veranda dining area and well equipped kitchen. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms suit upto 6 people. Flat was on side road away from main road traffic and noise.

It is a lovely apartment beautifully converted to an excellent standard , simply but well thought out .
