The stuff!!! "Il signore" looks like a person from Visconti's movies. He knows everithing about Florence and hotels. Very kind!!! The breakfast was good, the room nice, the situation of the Hotel excellent. this place is in a great location, close to the main train station and all the sights. owner was very helpful on sight and train info, he is a really lovely guy. very cheap too - the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, very central.

The receptionist was so helpful, friendly, the location is just amazing, almost everything to see in Florence is walking distance. The whole place was super clean, I wondered how they keep it that way. wi-fi works so well, there is a commune computer as well. also they allow you to drop the bags off at the lobby and come back later, after you check out.

My stay at Hotel Masaccio was very nice experience. The staff was friendly and it was a quite atmosphere. It is Budget-friendly. There is a food store that is 5 minutes away from the hotel. And there is also a Wash-and-Dry if you need to wash or dry your clothes.

We couldn't have hoped to have lived at a better hotel, particularly
from the point of view of its location, literally a few steps from the
piazza della signoria and the palazzo vecchio (and also extremely close
to nearby attractions such as the uffizi, bargello and ponte vecchio).
The hotel itself is quite wonderful, and our room was clean and more
than adequate for our purposes. We'd chosen the 'private
bathroom outside the room' option, and it ended up being only a
minor issue (if at all).

The man who works here was incredibly helpful. We were running late on a train about to miss the check in window, and he waited an hour pass the set check in window for us. Hotel Aline is a great for anyone on a budget. In our triple room we had a sink and shower, so sharing a bathroom down the hall (only a few doors down) didn't bother us at all.

To be honest, way worth it's money. Location was perfect, staff friendly, everything clean. I was surprised it was only rated as a 1-star hotel. I have been in other places that supposed to be rated higher but cannot be compared to this hotel.
