If taking the bus there ring ahead and ask the staff exactly where to get off!

  As a single female I felt very safe, my room was clean, no view but I don't stay in my room except to shower and sleep. The location was close to the train and bus station, I was able to walk everywhere. There are several good restaurants and pizzerias within 2 blocks. I very much enjoyed my stay. It is situated right in the city sentrum what makes it a perfect place both for these people who came to Florence for exploring the city for several days and who came to do shopping. We had no issues paying with a credit card, and even able to use a different card than the one pre-authorized. The location is amazing - right next to the Duomo - and close to everything. The room was large, especially for Florence standards, and the staff was nice, although only there for a few morning hours. Compared to other hotels, this place was a very good value.
