We booked our stay at Hotel La Villetta to be close to the airport for our trip home and to spend our last day in Italy close to the Mediterranean. We choose hotel because it is close to the airport but not isolated. At
first the location seems oddly placed in a neighborhood, but it is

I stayed at this cosy little hotel today, just for one night. My flight was pretty much delayed and I arrived at 2 o'clock in the morning instead of 11 am. The owner and his wife were very very nice and friendly, they kept my room, he stood awake so long just because of me and then himself (!) drove me from the airport to the hotel soooo late at night. Laura met us at the airport (return price at 10 euro). Italian breakfast My husband left his coat in the arrival hall, Laura phoned for us to 'left luggage'. very kind, also she tried to do everything possible to give you a good stay at Il Focolare. Christina was so kind and helpful. I took the Terrabus to the Fuimicino stop (which is sort of in the middle of nowhere, or at least it seems so at night) and called the hotel and she actually came and picked me up at the bus stop which is a few miles away.
Then, for just a few euros, took me back to the airport for my very early (5 am) flight. She was super kind, helpful, and I appreciated everything.

We stayed here because we had two people leaving on a 6 am flight out of the airport. It was perfect for that and enabled my husband to come back and catch a few more hours of sleep after dropping them off. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff were very friendly. Our kids had fun playing in the large yard while we repacked the car. It's also just a few minutes from the beach. We didn't spend long on the beach, but it was a nice diversion.
