  The room was beautiful. The moment we walked in the door it felt like a quaint welcoming inn. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We hated to leave. Could have spent much more time there. We like to eat earlier than the normal 7:30 pm time when most Europeans eat and the bar was very accommodating and fixed us a nice soup, salad and cheese p... hva folk sier » late along with some good local red wine. Didn't need a big meal and really enjoyed this nice touch.   Staff were extremely friendly. Perfect location, lovely room. Everything about this hotel was very good, i would definatley highly recommend it to anyone. - Very friendly staff made you feel welcome and at home. Breakfast was fantastic.

  Tavernier Hotel is easily the most comfortable and friendly hotel I've stayed in Courmayeur. The staff were extremely helpful with logistics and with restaurant bookings in the town. The location is perfect for the Dolonne gondola to the slopes and is a short walk into the town.
