  The hotel has a pleasantly old-fashioned feel to it but the service was spot on. The staff were courteous and helpful, even to the point of retrieving a lost cardigan from the Villa Carlotta and posting it on.   Kind personal and fairly good breakfast. Nothing fancy, just annoter hotel. Maybe not that good value for money compared to other cities, but generally the cities around lago como are expensive, so in that respect the price is okay. It's coviniently placed between the railway station and the historical part of the city - The hotel was very near t... hva folk sier » he train station and also only 10 minutes walk from the lake. Breakfast was varied and always topped up when things ran out. The staff were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist us. A lovely hotel which we would go back to.
