What a gem! We were backpacking Europe and decided to stay at La
Scogliera. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are
so clean, and the view of the sea is spectacular. Delicious breakfast
and made-to-order coffees, and the hotel lent us bikes to get to and
from the train station. Just a train ride away from Cinque Terre, and,
as recommended by hotel staff, Santa Margherita and Portofino. Lovely
stay at La Scogliera; highly recommend.

The community toilet was not an issue as there were at least 3 and were very close to the rooms which were semi-private.
