Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We loved the room though a little small--the bathroom was elegant and very comfortable. Breakfast was great with many tasty selections. This BB has a central location [2 min from Piazza Duomo], really close to public transportation [Piazza Alcala] and via Etnea [wich is one of the main streets in Catania]. The BB is clean and comfy. The owners, Giovanni and his mother [who lives next door] are nice people. The palazzo in which the BB is located it's a bit noisy, but this is Sicilly. Overall, I was pleased with the place and I recomend it.

The place is very close to everything, very big room and bathroom, staff was speaking English and was kind. We stayed for 2 nights so I think I would recommend it for a shorter stay. The breakfast was in the rate we booked and was in a nearby local cafe, which was ok except they don't speak English at all. -

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Rigel. The staff was exceptionally professional and really treated me well!!! It has a great breakfast and the room was wonderful!! Good location if you are using the train or bus. I should have stayed longer!
