  Excellent location for sightseeing. Beds and pillow (self selection)excellent as were the bathroom and breakfast. Highly recommended. - Staff were friendly and very helpful and efficient. I drove to the hotel and all I had to do was follow the signs to the Best Western Mediterraneo once I entered the city of Catania.I was able to find it with ease.

  Staff was very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast, featuring both hot and cold items, breads, cornetti, cakes, champagne, and juices was not only delicious but the best that we have had in Italy. The room was clean, modern with comfortable beds. The location was ideal - right on the main shopping street of Catania and only 5-10 minute walk... hva folk sier » to the Duomo.   We arrived in the evening after long international journeys and were very happy to be met with very helpful front desk personnel. We got good advice on where to eat near by and the neighbouring area. The room was lovely, modern and minimalistic, very restful. We walked around the corner, as directed, and found numerous choices for restaurant - Amazing hotel is worth every penny. Most courteous service, and caring people realize. Amazing rooms, spacious and large. Highly recommend the hotel!! Catania city center, close to everything, especially the main street called via Etna. Bars and restaurants near the hotel and lots of peace and quiet ...!!!!
