We traveled to Cala Gonone as a young couple and found Residence Biriola very easy to find. Upon arriving we were greeted by Bruno, the elder statesman of the residence, who was quite simply charming. He took us around, showed us the garden at the back and told us we could help ourselves to the fresh herbs and chillis. The hotel has a perfect location. Our room had a view over the
Mediterranean with palm trees and seats on the other side of the small
road outside the hotel. The road is no problem as it is very little
traffic passing through. The breakfast was ok, there were eggs,
biscuits, good bread, yoghurt, fruits, everything you need for a good
start off the day. The hotel is very close to the beaches, wonderful.
Carla Gonone is a very lovely place to stay at.

fantastic location and staff and great service alround - we got a free room upgrade to make more space for us and our daughter staying in a separate cot, also provided by hotel free of charge - I liked the hotel. It has a lovely terrace with a beautiful seaview where you can have breakfast. The room was nice and clean. It is good value for money.
