Villa Aruch is an excellent property to stay at. Too stylish, too spacious ( a rarity in Europe) and too comfortable. It is a very tastefully done up property with personal touches evident everywhere. Once inside, you don't feel like leaving the hotel and going out anywhere. The only and probably a very major problem is its location. The hotel is situated in one corner of the town, totally cut off from the main areas with no supermarkets or restaurants anywhere close by. The apartments were 200m down from a large supermarket, so cooking in the apartment was made easy. The apartment is not close to the centre of Florence but is easily accessible by bus number 22 from the train station and centre of Florence (about 15-20 mins on the bus). If taking the bus there ring ahead and ask the staff exactly where to get off!

Great new hotel, gives a perfect holiday feeling.
Very attentive staff, both at the reception and in the breakfast restaurant.
The area looks dodgy at first, but it's just around the corner of the residential area with shop and restaurants.
There is a direct bus into the city centre, you can buy tickets at the reception without any surcharge. -

Personel was very welcoming. Room was very clean, sound isolation was very good. Location is very good - it takes only 9 minutes by bus to the city center, and buses go very often. No traffic jams on the way to the city center. Same bus will take you 2 stops further to the historical center. There is a big park nearby. -
