The Majestic Hotel is just a 1-minute walk from the 5 km stretch of golden sands of Tramore Beach and 12 km from Waterford. It boasts a restaurant overlooking Tramore Bay and free WiFi access. Rooms at the Majestic feature shower rooms with hairdryers. Rooms also include TVs, safety deposit boxes and tea/coffee making facilities. The Garden Room Restaurant serves traditional Irish and classic international dishes. Produce is locally sourced and there is an extensive wine list to accompany the menu. The Lounge Bar overlooks Tramore’s Boating Lake and drinks and snacks can also be enjoyed on the garden patio. Light refreshments are served all day in the Lakeside Lobby. Guests of the Majestic receive a discount at The Splashworld Health and Leisure Club, which is opposite the hotel. Fishing and horse riding are available on the beach.

Receptionist was lovely and friendly, room was fab, ordered bar food and the young lady who looked afer us, Rachel, was so helpful and friendly. Even recommended a different bar as the music wasn't really to our taste. Breakfast was fantatic for selction and staff friendliness. We went to a surprise party for a friend of ours in the bar that night and the staff once again were wonderful. Couldn't recommend the hotel highly enough. Parked the car for the weekend and walked everywhere. Totally re.
alle vurderinger » The hotel was great! Absolutely loved the kids club for my little girl! Made one mistake went to Doolys fish and chip shop for dinner the staff there were really rude! The fish and chips in the hotel looked much better for maybe just a tiny bit extra money! Shoul have ordered in the hotel! Staff amazng was able to get toasted sandwhich for the kids at 9pm in the bar. Breakfast was amazing like a banquet! The O Shea's will definitely be returning to the majestic!. The hotel was perfect.Clean, airy and roomy.the staff were efficient, very helpful and unobtrusive.The food was excellent. Overall, the hotel seems to have managed the difficult trick of running a very efficient operation while retaining a homely ambience. Very impressed. The room we had was great overlooking the bay. Breakfast was very good and staff in breakfast area were very attentive. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Enjoyed the music in the bar. Everything about our stay was just perfect, the hotel, staff and food were excellent. We had a very welcoming smile when we arrived and had a very enjoyable weekend at the hotel. The Staff were very friendly and polite. I was infomed that the Wii was not good in the room, I was staying in. Breakfast next day was delicious and plenty of it. I loved the breakfast,was the best ever,rooms were lovely with a balcony which had fab view.staff were very friendly and efficient,I will be back. everything room was lovely clean&spacious great view..we will b back very soon. My room was perfect (122) although some others in the group didn't get a good room. first time to stay and where upgraded to a room with balcony without expecting it. the hotel was a nice friendly place to stay right across from the beach. Best place to stay will be coming back love it an every 1 was so nice. The staff was very friendly and the full Irish breakfast was superb. The staff, the room cleanliness, the view and the food. it was so relaxing , and beach only a short walk away. friendly staff, peace and quite, hotel very clean. Position of hotel. Check in was too late with two small kids my absolutely only criticism!. I thought the bar food was only OK . The area could do with more staff. We had steak and chips. The chips were like rubber. With a bit of effort I think the food could be better. Better Wii thank you. I didn't like that fact that I could not drive to the entrance door with my mother in law who has problem walking,and was a too far to walk for her,but to be fair they was wheelchair access but she does not use one,we had to use the goods delivery entrance and still had to encounter a few steps,but now that we know that we will be better prepared next time,. could not find any fault at all. The food although well served wasn't all good. My salmon was but the others thought both the turkey and lamb tough. could have had better deals to stay. Notin every thing was so good. The heating was off during the night and it wasn't very confortable. Way over priced and the bed was too small and a bit uncomfortable. the buildings in tramore it self ,appeared to be run down. Rooms very cold And no entertanement on sat evening. Lack of towels in room. Beds are too hard. Toilet to near the door of the bathroom. Going home!. room a bit small for family and little bit expensive. the food. The Bed very hard Pint of Guinness was not good had better in England. The radiator in our bedroom did not have a switch to enable you to turn it off and as it was extremely hot in the room it was not pleasant. Hopefully when all the bedrooms have been refurbished this will be dealt with. The duvets could also do with updating.
