  This is the second time I've stayed in the Shelbourne Hotel and will definitely be returning. Stayed with a friend of mine just for a night away to catch up and do some shopping etc. location is absolutely perfect, a short stroll to Grafton Street, and surrounded by great pubs and restaurants. We were given a beautiful room on the top floor overlooking the Green...we had only boo - Absolutely loved this hotel! Was weighing up whether to stay at the Westbury or her and we were so glad we picked the Shelbourne! It is just in a class of its own and seems to have more on at night too. You could just sit in the elegant foyer and people-watch all day! Everything in this hotel was as you would expect for a 5* hotel.   I recently stayed at Abigail's for 3 days with my wife and 4 year son. Abigail's located at heart of the city close to restaurants, shopping, bars and pick-up points for most tours. Staff is very friends. Breakfast consisting of break, butter, jam, coffee, yoghurt, eggs, milk and cereals is included. Free wi-fi is included though it was very weak... hva folk sier » in the room I was staying in on 3rd floor. On the flip side, there are no fans or AC in the rooms and it can get bit noisy in the nights especially f - I was there for two days. I really liked the location of this place. Walking distance to almost every other place. The staff are really friendly and nice,ready to help. The security there is also high. The place is very clean too. I was at some other hostel to see a friend and trust me,it wasn't half as nice as Abigail's. It was the first statement I made immediately I could manage to. All in all, it is a very very nice place to stay. Plus,breakfast was very good.

  A very pretty Georgian home with many of the old ways respected. Suitable furniture and a very tasteful display of prints reflecting the period around the stairways and landings. The outer facade is impressive, with the two red doors boldly stating the presence of the house to the world. I look forward to returning to Waterloo - Great location only a couple of kms from dublin's city centre yet set in a peaceful and quiet street in a lovely old building overlooking a garden out the back. Rooms were small yet cosy and very comfortable. Wifi worked in the rooms fine and free parking was very convenient. Breakfast was a mixture of a small buffet as well as a la carte meals and was excellent. Staff were very friendly and provided some excellent restaurant recommndations.   Very good hostel experiece. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The atmosphere was congenial and collegiate among the hostellers. The individual room that I stayed was clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom/shower facilities showed some wear but were generally clean and in good condition.   The hostel lived up to my expectations. The staff is young and friendly.   This hotel offered very easy access from airport and had a bus station right in front for an easy 5 minute ride to the city centre. Also, an easy 30 minute walk back. Very safe, staff extremely friendly and helpful.
