This is a lovely guesthouse to escape too in Varanasi. It is being done up at the moment room byn room but being made very beautiful. It is a family run business and like it says on the business card 'You arrive as guest and leave as friend'. The staff are all excellent - especially the managers Vivek and Raoul (sorry if names are spelt wrong).

I liked the fact that the hotel is very clean and fresh, having been newly built in 2012, and there is attention to keeping a high standard of cleanliness. There are also modern conveniences, and the food is good. The owner and all the staff work harmoniously as one family, and there is a good, cheerful feeling, and all are genuinely helpful, including the humble, kind tour guide Bindi, who told us things about the ghats that we were not aware of.
