The staff of the Elegant Guest House is very helpful and friendly. They helped me with anything I needed. The room is what you can expect for this kind of money: big enough, the beds are fine, the bathroom is okay (clean floor, but the walls a bit greasy). Most of the rickshawdrivers cannot easily recognize the address - make sure you take a business card or ask them to call the hotel (give them the phone number); or tell them to drop you at Snow World, it is only a few minutes from there to t.
alle vurderinger » Bright, nicely lit bathroom so I could see myself shaving. Although I'm American, I also liked the Indian style toilet and having one drain for the entire bathroom. Made washing clothes very easy. My room was also in the vack and quiet, on a very busy street. The wifi router fried and it took a day to get a replacement working again, but the staff pursued it diligently. everbody was very friendly, the room was simple but clean and equipped with more than you can ask for at this unbeatable price... i also liked the location because you are in a vivid neighbourhood with small shops and many temples... Sherin, the owner, was incredibly accommodating and went out of his way to help me when there was a difficulty with providing a room which I had booked. He provided me with a lot of help and I was most grateful for that. Owner und Manager des Hotels help always if possible - it is rare to find such kind people - you get what you pay for so don`t expect a luxury suite - bed is comfortable - I had A/C and a desk - Internet very good. There was drop-off to Bangalore International Airport which was a very good thing about Elegant Hotel. I was told that they will arrange the　pick-up also. For budget travellers this is an excellent Hotel. We appreciate a lot the kindness of staff, especially the manager care who helped us a lot. He is very nice and friendly. Small and comfort. Best way to experience India. Location was fine, close to bangalore cant. Frequent power outages, but that is just India. Location was difficult to find for the taxi drivers but I asked to make it more clear on the website so hopefully this has been done. each day fails the electricity for maybe an hour (or less) - but this is not related to the hotel, it occurs all over Bangalore - nothing else to complain. Nothing. not so clean as Europe. Needs western toilet and hot water for shower. Bit too basic but been to much worse (and dearer), e,g, Mansions in Kowloon. Needs renovation.. The cleanliness is fair, too far away from the city. Took me two hours to find it. Internet was okay, but slightly kicking off the 2nd day. In the bathroom were cocroaches during the night, as well as no electricity. But overal it was not bad for that price. Some staff did not undertand english, so its hard to arrange if you need something urgent.
