We stayed a few days in mid April and a lot of shops/restraurants on the lake were closed. We would not like to be here in July/August.   very nice place for a transit trip between Poland and Chroatia (early autum) but I think it has a lot of advantages during the high season as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful and told us where to go and what to avoid. The location is great, minutes from the lake and all the bars and restaurants.
