  Very nice hostel, quiet and has no-shoes policy, so you got to put slippers on to be able to walk inside the hostel (which is fine with me as I don't wear shoes at home either). Rooms are very warm, and since I'm used to lower temperatures I had to open windows a few times to get some cool air in... Around 15-20 minute walk to the city centre at ... hva folk sier » my pace. Plenty of public transport around - metro stop just 1 min walk from the hostel (Octagon) and trams are in front of the building too. Perfect - -Excellent location. -Clean, big, and new room. -The blankets and pillows smell very good and clean. -Big windows in the room. -Two shared toilets which are big and clean. I saw the housemaid did very good job. Even a hair she saw on the ground, she picked it up! -We stayed friends hostel for 5 days, they helped us to wash clothes for free. And cleaned and hanged it in our room. Thank you so much. -The receptionist helped us everyday, he booked the caving tour, sold the reservation spa tickets,

  The hostel was really good. It was a good value for the money. It didn't had TV nor towels, but this is really a not important thing since we arrived iin Budapest by car so we got on us towells and there is no need for TV when you are in holiday....The hotel is really near the Centre of the citty, the staff was really helpfull, young students I thi... hva folk sier » nk, so in a wide way was the best 30 euros spend.. - The location was good, the hostel looked new, and the bathroom was only shared between two rooms.

  Very good value for money - our own room for 5 people for 3 nights was 20 euros each. The location was great, easy to walk everywhere and there was a cute little cafe on the corner which was open until 4am - so that was great for a late night chill! There were some nice stalls there selling touristy stuff but also mulled wine and food. - Location is simply perfect, everything's in walking distance in the downtown. Further sites of Budapest can be cought by really cheap (~15€) hop-on hop-off offer by the reception. Staff is really professinal and kind, specially the guys (thanks for the bar recommendations). Everything was clean and fresh. Definetelly recommended to other backpackers.

  For this money is very good. We must understand(for some previus commentators), this is just cheap slip option and not Ritz or hilton(for those you must pay a lot of money). The guy from Serbia was very nice and kind(also spoke a lot of lauguages). Iztok from SLO - i ve liked the welcome of GYULA and DORKA, SUPER!!!!! Good room simply and cheap!... hva folk sier » !!!   Location is excellent next to Margaret Island (musical fountain, pools, running track round it), and near the city center but still a quite location. Beds comfy and rooms clean. Good continental breakfast included. Can get drinks / dinner on the top deck. Two budget double cabins (one for my 2 daughters and one for me and my son) was less than £20... hva folk sier » 0 for 4 nights. Friendly staff and more fun than a normal hotel or backpackers lodge. - It was a really nice and new experience for us to stay on a boat. staff is very friendly, rooms in the hotel are cosy, warm, lots of towels, tv with lots of channels, sadly just one CNN in english. anyways, the boat is really nice, the breakfast big and varied. There is a possibility to leave the luggage in the luggage room after checking out at 10am.
