Located on the Grand Boulevard of Budapest, just 150 metres from the Corvin-negyed M3 Metro Station, Corvin Hostel offers simple accommodation, shuttle service and a common kitchen for self-catering. All rooms are provided by shared bathroom facilities and provide views of the city. Airport shuttle is available on request. The Corvin Hostel provides easy access to the public transport system, you can take the tram no. 4 and 6 on the Boulevard to get to other parts of the city. The Danube River is 1 km from the building.

Not really the typical Hostel Style. More a big Apartment with 4 middle too great bedrooms a little kitchen (you can cook if you like :)) and the cleanest sanitation facilities I've seen so far (even if all the guests in the house use them). The receptionist (Owner) is very friendly, helpful and forthcoming and even if she isn't in the hostel all the time you can reach here by phone and she will help you as far as she can. The location is brilliant for exploring Budapest. The Hostel is 3min awa.
alle vurderinger » Very nice and very helpful staff - young woman Anita. Large and clean rooms (four rooms total), large bathroom, kitchen with gas cooker, fridge and free tea or coffee. 3 minutes walking to/from the metro station. Cheap and convenient city transport, particularly shuttle bus from the airport at night (8 euros for one-way). Friendly people in the city, willing to help, many speak english. We liked home like atmosphere. We absolutely enjoyed the old historical residential building with internal courtyard, so we could experience how people lived and built hundred years ago. We liked it is directly at metro, and just finished modern shopping mall. Anett was very friendly, and the hostel was small, so it didn't feel like we were stumbling over tons of people all the time. The place is very clean and super close to public transit, so it's very convenient. I would absolutely stay here again. - The owner was really helpfull and kind, the location was good, well communicated by subway not only to the city center but also to the airport and the bus station. The room and the toilet were clean and ofcourse the price. Everything. Staff were wonderful - incredibly helpful and very friendly. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen were all very clean and modern. Fantastic value for money. Stuff is great and friendly. Bed is very comfy. Very clean place, located near shopping mall and several food and drink establishments. Highly recomending!. the reception lady(I think is also the owner) is very nice and helpful, the hostel is very comfortable and clean. it is perfect for a couple. Very friendly staff, awesome modern design of rooms, very clean. Moreover, you can ask for the transfer to tge airport. Near by subway station. Location is fine, room was clean en simple, facilities as well. Good price. I can really recommend Cserpes Tejivó for breakfast, it is just around the corner next to the entrance of the Corvin Mozi shopping center. The owner is very kind and helpfull! The room was very cozy and big. Relatively good location next to free parking (on the side alleys, few hundred meters away), subway, tram and a large shopping mall. Do to the location at the Josef krt. there is some traffic during the rush hours and if you like to sleep with the windows open you have a constant background noise of Budapest in your room. The walls in the rooms are really thin, so especially in the middle room you can hear the other guests travel plans in stereo if they are there. (what most of the time isn't the case). Common WC and lavatory. But it is completely OK for such a price. No air conditioning or fans on the hottest days of the summer, and no good way to get a current of air going, so the place stayed hot and stuffy even when it cooled off outside. No complaints at all. I was there with a friend, so it was not fit for us lol but still great to relax. There is no receptionist in the evening and at night. Nothing. It would be better if a basin can be built near the small toilet. Nothing at all. No airco. Hostel staff was often not present, while sometimes its nice to get some advise and so on. There wasn't reception open 24/24. But this isn't an important problem because you have a copy of keys and the first day when you'll arrive, you'll agreements with Annet (the owner) and you'll find her in recepition also if you'll come at night. No A/C and poor sound isolation makes it really hard to sleep or even stay in the room especially on warm days. Our road side room had loads of traffic noise. The noise was amplified by the fact, that we had to sleep with the window open because of mid July heat. Walls in the rooms are paper thin and you can easily hear people talking in the neighbouring rooms. Reception phone starts ringing after 8AM serving as an alarm clock.
