Fantastic location on a quite secluded beach looking out towards Skiathos, with two good tavernas a few minutes walk away, and the small resort village of Platanias 15 minutes walk around the headland. Nice hotel, located at the end of the street leading to the foot path to the Meteoras - perfect if you want to hike the trail! Very friendly owner, gave us lots of information about the walking path to the monasteries. The hotel is perfectly located: 5 minutes from both Railway Station and Coach Terminal, in the centre of Kalabaka and yet very close to the hiking path to Aghia Triada and Aghios Stefanos.
Our room was large, bright and had modern furnitures-equipments and a large balcony.
The breakfast they served was good and satisfying.
The two landlady-sisters and their niece were very helpful and gave us all the indispensable information to visit Meteora.
