  2nd time in Alonissos, I choose Ikion Eco Boutique Hotel and I got one more unforgettable experience.This place is getting better every year and I will definitely come back. Everything I asked, she did! My - This hotel should be rated 6 star given the quality of the establishment and hospitality of the owner. From the first welcoming cup of lemonade to the end check out, everything is perfect. The owner goes the extra mile by being so helpful and engaging, showing you the best beaches to go to helping to sort a hire car. We cannot speak highly enough of her. And then comes breakfast!   The suites are fantastic, comfortable and clean.Maria and her family are very friendly. The suites are up a short hill, its a nice quiet place... At the bottom of the hill is the bus stop that takes you into town, an excellent bar and there are several really good restaurants just up the road. There is a pool, with a bar and light meals served all day till about 22:00. (Ask Maria to make - We found that the nearby beach, Troulos beach, was great for swimming with the children. The swimming pool area and adjacent games room were a great place to relax with the kids.
