  It was good to be able to cool down in the swimming pool at the end of hot day's excursion. Although the shower recess was as small a many others in Greece, it was nice to find it was properly enclosed. Plenty of off street parking and the owner/manager spoke clear English. Good breakfast too.

  In Lesvos we were looking for a tranquil beach holiday so searched options with this criteria in mind. During our stay we have been most towns of the island and Vatera turn out to be the best place for this purpose. Beach is no more than 20 m from the front door of - The very friendly, personal and helpful welcome and approach by the owners/managers, Jenny and Takis. They gave advice and had plenty of ideas about things to do and see, and made phone calls on our behalf and helped collect lost baggage, when the airline wouldn't help. The hotel's location right by the sea is blissfully peaceful and tranquil. There are no tourist crowds. Nearby there is a nature reserve with birdlife and more. Plenty of possibilities to go for beach or countryside walks or run

Below the hotel is an excellent restaurant where you can have lunch and dinner perfecat - This was a perfect holiday. The details on letsbookhotel.com looked lovely which is why we booked but I have to say that it was even better than we expected. The spacious accommodation was regularly serviced to a very high standard by Hilda. The unrestricted view of the Aegean sea is breath taking. The beach is unspoilt and clean, the sea water crystal clear and it was never crowded and often quiet. All the staff had fantastic customer service - nothing was too much trouble - A big thank you
