good location, good price, good staff. there's a market very close by (fresh food!), a fridge in the room (on the 6th floor you get a balcony too), and the acropolis is within easy walking distance. the owners are very friendly and helpful too. very clean, but simple (it's a 2 star hotel - don't expect great luxuries). decent breakfast. close

The staff were very helpful and friendly, even giving us a box breakfast when our plane was leaving before breakfast. However, we did not like going out after dark except to the restaurant just across the street. Great location for sightseeing, 1/2 mile to the metro and Plaka. We would stay there again while in Athens.

This is an excellent hotel. It has been recently refurbished, so both our room and the public areas were clean and modern. The friendly staff were courteous and very efficient at their jobs. We were welcomed with a small bottle of wine and given advice about local restaurants and shops. The hotel is located in a nice safe part of Piraeus, near the marina, shops and many restaurants. The hotel was situated very close to the metro with lots of little restaurants and shops scattered around the area. Unfortunately it isn't very close to the beach, however you can take a couple of trains and get there relatively easily in about 40mins. We checked out early purely because we wanted more of an island experience rather than an 'Athens city' one. You will definitely get the feel of what it's like living right in the middle of Athens. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Great location off the main street so was quiet. Excellent view of the Acropolis. Nice roof top to sit & soak in the view. Close to Plaka area. Hotel staff very attentive, excellent recommendations where to eat in the area. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room but free boiling water readily available from staff in reception, also could purchase tea coffee alcohol etc 24 hrs a day Taxi service to & from the airport organized by the hotel which meant no surprises with cost.
