  Hospitality and attention of staff, especially manager, was exceptional. To the smallest details they tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible and to provide us all required information.   good location, good price, good staff. there's a market very close by (fresh food!), a fridge in the room (on the 6th floor you get a balcony too), and the acropolis is within easy walking distance. the owners are very friendly and helpful too. very clean, but simple (it's a 2 star hotel - don't expect great luxuries). decent breakfast. close ... hva folk sier » to the central metro station (so good if you have an early flight out). - This hotel is very clean, although it is on the fringe of a seedy area. The staff were very helpful and friendly, even giving us a box breakfast when our plane was leaving before breakfast. However, we did not like going out after dark except to the restaurant just across the street. Great location for sightseeing, 1/2 mile to the metro and Plaka. We would stay there again while in Athens.

We checked out early purely because we wanted more of an island experience rather than an 'Athens city' one. You will definitely get the feel of what it's like living right in the middle of Athens. They did everything to make our stay the best it could be. Clean towels and regular room cleaning was a real bonus as was the air con.
