Its breathtaking view, literally "on the rocks" of the Lybian sea. It is comfortable, quiet, located close to the small harbour from where you can go by boat to some beaches and nearby villages. Palaiochora is a nice place for a enjoyable staying, with many and good restaurants and where people conserve that Mediterranean way-of-life so difficult

Great location with a view of the ferry, seafront and mountains.
Breakfast was very good - fruit, cereal, coffee, juice, cold meat, cheese, bread, croissants, doughnuts, bacon, eggs etc.
Staff were very friendly. Room small but adequate. Hotel was very quiet but lots of restaurants and bars very close. Beach lovely. Also local museum worth seeing.

The hotel is set in a quiet location with beautiful gardens. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very spacious with modern and comfortable amenities. Useful hotel in the middle of Paleochora, excellent position for having a walk around the village. Two minutes from the stone beach and 10 from the sandy one on the other side of the peninsula. The room was spacious but we had two separated bad even if we asked for a twin one. Owners were very kind and more important, free and comfortable parking nearby.

Extremely helpful and friendly owner/host. Perfect location. Very clean. Helpful staff. Apartments with 2 separated bedrooms each with A/C ( unlike many other appartments in Greece). Quite a big choice of beaches in and near Paleochora. So, if it is windy on the particular beach you can easily go or drive to another. -

Large spacious apartment with separate bedroom and balcony. Very clean sheets and soft towels!! Close to beach and town. Lovely little old lady who runs the place brought up some homemade cake one morning. We checked out at the end of the week in flourish of hugs and kisses. It was probably the sight of cash but I really shouldn't be cynical. -

We liked the welcome, the cleanliness, nothing was too much trouble for our hostess. Two minutes walking to the beach and everything you needed was close to hand. Very peaceful. We could not have wished for more. -
