There are many beautiful places through out Santorini but there was definitely something very special about Vallas, the location, the food, the service, the warmth everything.   (Sorry for my English as I'm French) Amazing hotel and as it is located at the top of the Firostefani village, you have an amazing view of the entire city and the caldera Villa Ilias has actually the best panoramic view of this lovely city. It was very windy so we could not use the swimming pool but we managed to have breakfast by the pool each mo... hva folk sier » rning. The buffet breakfast was excellent as they try to change it every morning, so it's not even boring when you stay a few days there. The service - We stayed at Villa Ilias in June 2013 and couldn't be happier with our choice. Our room was on the pool level which we liked: we could hang out at the pool and reach for everything we needed in our room! The room is modern and clean, with a small kitchen and fridge which is perfect as eating in Santorini can be expensive. The breakfast was simple but tasty, and the staff was really helpful with any questions we had. You can even borrow board games, books and movies, great service! Firostefani i
