  The hotels is quiet, clean and with a fantastic breakfast. One of us was sick and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. We extended our stay and would come back in a heartbeat. As for the comments about the neighbourhood, except for one street between the museum and the polytechical school it was just fine.   Great room very clean AND Tidy good bathroom and facilites. I arrived late so didt=nt go out, however restaurant was closed and i didnt know where i was to go looking for dinner so room service was available - note 20% extra charge on everything so one regular pizza which was huge too big for me and two JDs and one diet coke was 40euro which was ... hva folk sier » excessive. Bear in mind this is a budget hotel, but probably because it is not in the center. But for the value, the hotel was clearly recently renovated and impeccably so. I stayed just one night and it was easy from the ferry and easy to the airport.

I was thankful for the air conditioner, cable tv, and great breakfast! - It was close to the train station, clean, had what I needed. We checked out early purely because we wanted more of an island experience rather than an 'Athens city' one. You will definitely get the feel of what it's like living right in the middle of Athens. They were cleaned once a day. The towels were also changed on a daily basis. I was very pleased to find 2 teeth brushes and tooth paste in a bathroom. Air Condition system worked properly.
