Probably the only honest, proper quarter in town; the apartment was spacious and situated 150-200m from the ocean, the view from the balcony was rural and pretty and the atmosphere in general was relaxed and absolutely bereft of hideous tourism.
The place was central to beach and main street for restaurants at night.
Food was good and inexpensive.
