Although I had purchased the Bayern Ticket and did not use the guest card, it is still quite useful for those without a Bayern Ticket as the guest card allows visitors to take local buses for free. Very quiet at night as all the shops will be closed early in the evening. Lady at front desk was actually very helpful although she seemed a bit gruff at first.

  First of all I would like to thank the personal of the hotel for their hospitality, opennes and helpfulness. My family spent 2 wonderful weeks at Hotel Bärenstüberl during Xmas holidays.I Would highly recommed to visit this hotel due to the following reasons: 1. It is located in a very beautiful and calm place (5 min from the famous lake Königssee... hva folk sier » ). 2/ The hotel has a very good restaurant serving traditional bavarian and international cuisine. 3/ Very good price/value ratio. 4/ a lot of opportu - All was wonderfull! Hotel is located near one of the most beautiful lakes - "Koenigsee" (this lake is similar to the Norwegian fjords!!!), near a big national park and near many interesting german and austrian sights to))) Children were very happy with swimming pool))) Ilya was very frendly and helpfull (he is owner of this nice hotel) Many thanks for a good holidays!!!

  The whole experience was fabulous. The location is ideal, the hotel, its facilities and staff were first class. I would definately stay again. - this hotel is one of the best hotels i have ever seen. the location and the atmosphere is outstanding. To make it short, its "IMPRESSIVE"

  Everything! See above. We had two rooms for our family of five. We were very comfortable and the rooms are nicely decorated. Breakfast and presentation were a perfect start of each day. Very professionally and pleasantly managed by the owner who lives next door with his wonderful family. Dinner recommendations, sights to see and transportation tips... hva folk sier » provided were followed and we enjoyed them all. - Very welcoming, glorious setting, great breakfasts, great staff for whiom nothing too much trouble, highly recommended.

  Outstanding hotel, Great location, Owners were extremely nice, the views incredible and room was outstanding, also a great menu; will definitely stay there again! - The breakfast was fresh and I had a great view from my balcony. The restaurant was also quite nice.
