  We loved the hotel which was situated on the Rein and easy access to all the attactions. The owners our a delightful couple, who lived in Canada for 8 years and speak perfect English. There guest come back every year and it is like going home. We had dinner with the owners and a few guest at a near by restaurant and it was a special evening. The ... hva folk sier » hotel restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday. We will be returning next year and staying at this hotel. - Romance?! This hotel is it. You are literally on bank of the Rhine River. The room my in-laws had had a window out to the bridge in one direction and down the Rhine the other. Our room overlooked the bridge. Wow. Everything was spot-on perfect and just what we needed to wrap up a perfect Swiss vacation. The hotel restaurant was closed on Monday night so we ate at Gasthaus Hirschen in Gailingen. The German food was excellent.
