  The Pension Ludwigshafen is the budget alternative to more expensive hotels/pensions in the city center of Ludwigshafen and Mannheim (taking into account the general lack of hotel rooms in that area, the price was okay). The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean but spartan. The bathroom was clean and had been renovated recently.... hva folk sier » It should be noted that the Pension is located directly at the railroad tracks (it is in fact an old railway station).   I think it is a new hotel, so everything is clean and modern and good. The room is not very big, not it does not feel crowded probably because I am living alone. It is wonderful that the mini-bar is free with multiple selections in it. - All new and fresh and clean. Walk anywhere in the city centre. The usual good German breakfast
