There is a shopping centre 20 meters from the front door that has 2 supermarkets in the basement. There must be at least 30 restuarants witin walking distance as well as the sony centre. There is also a Starbucks in the same block. The staff were very heplful. Especially Mela Ikanovic.

Hotel location, breakfast, staff, room size (de luxe) - The location of the hotel is excellent, the rooms are very comfortable, the design is gorgeous and the breakfast delicious. The location of the hotel, which is right beside Check Point Charley, and represents a perfect starting point for an historical and cultural sightseeing! Moreover, the confort of the room: my wife and I had read several negative reports about a supposed "glass wall" in the room, between the toilette and the bedroom, but that turned out in-existent. Maybe the problem had been satisfactorily solved!

The location is in the center of the city, the room and the hotel facilities were in high level, and the staff was very nice. - The service was exceptionally good. When we ordered room service, out food came relatively fast and was delicious.

We chose this hotel both for location and price for a long, Xmas market weekend. On arrival, we were informed that our room rate (c€75/night) was inclusive of breakfast, soft drinks and hot drinks, which was a real bonus. Breakfast selection is fabulous, ranging from the usual cold buffet, cereals etc but also omelets made to order, bacon, sausages etc. Location is ideal for sightseeing by foot - Gestapo HQ, Berlin Wall etc only 10 minutes away, but of course you can also hop on/hop off the sig

Fantastic central location, within walking distance of all major sites and plenty of restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity. The hotel was impeccably clean and the staff couldn't have been nicer. All in all it has been one of the best hotels I have stayed in for a long while, we couldn't fault anything. - The staff were extremely courteous
