  So well appointed, everything one might normally expect in a classy hotel was there. A neat touch was the magazine rack, even if we couldn't read German! The staff were excellent and able converse easily in English which enhanced the visit for us. I will definitely stay here again, and I have already reccommneded it to friends and colleague

  The Alster Hof was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Hamburg.   I found it all very good,Room clean, large(we had the basic room), good flatscreen. Beds were good, shower good , I could go on but realy we had nothing to conplain. The view from the room was funny, we could see Man At Work in an office. In previous evaluations someone complained about the breakfast but I found the breakfast very good. Rich breakfast in The dancing towers with salmon and champagne. Free apples in the rooms and at the reception. Good wireless internet for free. SPA and beauty centre for those who wants (we didn't use it). The lobby with a bar looks rather glamourous, like in Bond movies. The price was very nice for a **** hotel.
