Really pleasant, helpful and friendly staff, extremely clean and comfortable hotel, excellent breakfast included, cheap secure parking at the hotel and it's really convenient for everything in Cologne. There is a tram stop right outside the front door and if you dont fancy that everything is within easy walking distance. Cathedral is just 5-10mins

We thought that the standard of cleanliness and service of Sofitel was excellent and the food in the restaurant and tapas bar was also of high quality. Very nice hotel, recently renovated. We had a big room and enjoyed a lot our staying. The hotel has its own parking facilities (there is also plenty of public parking in the surrounding) and a tram station nearby: perfect combination! The breakfast was very nice. We got a last minute smart deal, it was very good value for money. -

Liz from KL summed it up well. We had the top floor room which is split over two levels, and fro the top level we could see the Dom. Very convenient location, close to railway station and there is a suburban line almost right underneath the hotel now, so convenient to arrive into the city by train. Breakfast was outstanding, with local gourmet ingredients. Great staff. Quiet location too, set on a quiet back street just outside the central part of town. Highly recommend this place.
