Grei standard - Our 3 night stay in the Meininger Hotel/Hostel was faultless. Room was bigger than expected, clean and modern as photographed. Staff were excellent and helpful. Everything is o.k. Location, clean and comfort room, nice breakfast room, rich breakfast with fruit salad. - Free breakfast was very tasty. The staff was helpful and did not mind speaking English. Was reasonably close to tourist areas.

Easy walking distance to central station or indeed right to city centre (half an hour or so) if you like a stroll. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room - no street noise that we heard. Nice little bar for a cheeky beer after a busy day. Public transport ans a few restaurants all in walking distance. Really enjoyed our city break here.

Straight shot to the city center, about a 15-20 walk or there is access to the transportatiom system about 5-10 min walk that will take you to the city center, museums, etc real quick.
The staff was so helpful and was able to direct me anywhere I needed to go real easily!

Very good buffet ! The first time in my life i met a machine for extracting free fresh orange juice, at will ! At reception desk, apples, bonbons and pens to take away !
Located in a quiet area, with trees, and far away from the atmosphere of the main station area full of casinos and table dances !
Not far, on the way to main station, are two or three restaurants, with good food.

The facilities were excellent - on a par with much more expensive and larger establishments. The service was so friendly it was like staying in a much smaller, famly run hotel - 10 out of 10. - The staff were extremely helpful, with excellent English language skills. The range of food available at breakfast was great.

Our room 103 was much larger than anticipated and very clean and comfortable. It had a basic kitchen with a table and chairs and a fridge but no cooking facilities.Very close to the UBahn and only a few stops from the centre of Munich. Parking wasnt a problem. We parked in the street and used the Pension's parking pass for 3 euros a day.

The hotel is not actually so far from the center, normal walking in 20 min you are in the old town. we also found that is very close to the place where Oktoberfest fair and attractions are taking place - is good to book well in advance if you intend to come for this occasion.
The breakfast very good, rich, a lot of juices, but not too many fruits. The internet costs 5 euro per day. The receptionists were all nice persons.
