  We discovered this hotel just by accident upon a last minute change in our plans... Have to say that this hotel is truly a gem - the single most unique spot we stayed on our 18 night european trip!!! Hotel receptionist struggled to communicate with us in English as we did not speak German - However, she went a - Fantastic location with wonderful views over Jena and its environs. The restaurant is particularly outstanding, also with breathtaking views. Very friendly and helpful staff.
