  We were on a family visit in Blankenese so for us the location was excellent. This hotel is 5 mins walk from S-Bahnhof Blankenese with superb direct services via S1-line to the city centre (25 mins) and Hamburg-Airport (50 mins) running every 10 mins or one can also use the fast Bus No 36 to the city centre. Really excellent breakfast (more than ... hva folk sier » you can eat!) - decor a little bit dated but perfectly alright and very clean. We asked for a room to the rear at the time of booking and it was real - Located a little way out of city but on a good bus and train routes. Check in staff very polite and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable, spacious bathroom. Breakfast very good choices. Would return
