  This small hotel is beautifuly located on the edge of Grainau village with stunning views of the mountans. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed a small balcony overlooking the garden. Breakfast was excellent although we were surprised to find several dogs in the breakfast room. They were well behaved though and we soon got used to them.   We liked the location of the hotel in the picturesque village of Grainau, and also the traditional chalet design. Our spacious room with balcony looked out at the Zugspitze which was spectacular. Breakfasts were excellent as was our evening meals. - Hotel was very nice. Most of the personnel were nice and kind, and the atmosphere was like a ... hva folk sier » family. The location was very good, mere 5 minutes drive from Garmish and the view from our room (mountain) was spectacular.
