  It's a family run hotel and I haven't seen that German hospitality anywhere in Germany. Those are some really nice couple!!! Nice antique hotel decor. Nice mountain view from the balcony. Only 5 minutes drive to Garmisch. It's a plus to have wireless internet also.My husband and I love to stay in this hotel over and over again.

  This is a lovely hotel with a lovely friendly and warm atmosphere. The staff work hard to make sure everything is how you like it and they are happy to give you advice and tips on the area. It's situated in a little town just outside GP but the road access is excellent and its very central to the main sights. Great cakes and lovely breakfast. Food was excellent with extras like coffee cake for breakfast and cake and tea in the afternoon. We had a large room on the 3rd floor: beautiful wood work; nice details; balcony overlooking the mountains. The best thing of all was the herd of cows being driven to the barn to be milked and then back to pasture, right under our window.

  Nice and quiete place. The appartments are very cozy, clean and convinient. The owner's family is extremely friendly and pollate. I strongly recommend this place for the rest.

  The hotel was beautiful, the staff was helpful and the pool, whirlpool and sauna were wonderful. 15 minutes from Garmisch, but it was nice to be away from the busy area down there. The Dome was fantasic and across the street - I stayed at the hotel last month, no issues using the VAT (19% tax savings form for the US Military). This time, the acc... hva folk sier » ountant wasn't there and the front desk staffed did not have a clue. Will have to drive to the local VAT office in Stuttgart and have them work the issue. As nice as the hotel was, and it was nice, made for a poor ending.
