  Wow! Everything. We especially enjoyed the scenery from the pool. Thehotel staff were very welcoming, and we felt like we were staying withfamily. The restaurant was excellent. - The ambience and quiet. The food served was very good, and the staff, espcially Sylvia, was very attentive.

  A lovely place with beautiful views in a charming setting. We didn't see the owner, but her son showed us our room and told us where we could go to eat dinner (about 5 minutes away) . The next morning we saw one member of staff who greeted us by asking our name and when we confirmed it she gave us the bill, instrucing us to pay cash.   We hiked to Hotel-Pension Sonne from Bad Griesbach. The hotel was very charming and room was spacious and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were excellent at the on site restaurant. Highly recommend the fresh homemade cakes at the cafe next door (owned by same family). The owner spoke excellent English.
