  As far as we could make out everything was as near perfect as it could be, apart from the weather. You can't blame the hotel for that! The rooms are excellent, having recently been renovated, and the supply of kettle with tea, coffee and milk is a plus, which very few continental hotels seem to have taken up; a definite feather in their cap. We - Thelocation is smashing within walking distance to a peaceful but efficient railway station. Excellent connections to Lindau, Ulm, Oberstdorf ,Wangen im Allgau etc. The town itself is beautiful, small with some very nice buildings. The staff were extremely gentle and helpful.The food for breakfast and also for dinner was excellent. Value for money... Would strongly reccommend to anyone hoping to travel in wonderful Allgau. We had to extend our stay because of flight exigencies.... no problem

Approx 60 miles SW from Munich & 1/2-way between the Bodensee where Germany, Austria & Switzerland meet. About 15 mins from the small airport. It is used by lo-cost airlines to serve Munich. Storchenfarbe is a 15th century building, completely restored into luxury apartments and a small house, nicely fitted-out with everything one needs.   The hotel had a charming traditional feel of a family-run establishment. The room was large and the bathroom was huge. Although some of the décor was a bit dated everything was of top quality and the whole hotel was immaculately clean.   Everything about the hotel and its location was superb. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean and were cleaned every day to the highest standard. The staff moved an extra bed into our room at no extra cost to facilitate better sleeping arrangements. The rooms were clean, and the bathroom was modernly equipped (the main reason for choosing this hotel). The room was also huge. If found the price very doable at 135 euro/night for 3 adults, including breakfast.

  We stopped overnight when travelling form the UK to The Austrian mountains. The location was ideal and the place was fantastic. We did not stay to look around the area so cannot really comment.
