We were so pleased we endured all the hairpin bends and bad roads up the mountain to this fabulous hotel. Of course the view was fabulous and hotel grounds were delightful. Staff in the hotel and restaurant were fantastic and food delicious. We wanted to stay longer!. Stunning location in a cliff side village. Family owned hotel with extremely helpful staff and a wonderful restaurant. A good drive from Bastia but worthwhile for amazing views and character of local villages.

We had to take the early ferry out and they were up and ready to serve a nice breakfast. - very good restaurant - nice view from terrace (restaurant) - nice and remote location near bastia (only 15min to harbour). Spacious, clean, comfortable room with beautiful view. Nice pool area, comfortable seats in shade elsewhere. Very beautiful situated, very romantic surrondings. And the hotel was great with a nice swimmingpool. Excellent restaurant serving local cuisine. Friendly and helpful staff, who spoke good English. The restaurant was simply amazing! Nothing. - disappointing view from hotel room (tree branches hiding view) - room price too high (comparing with comparable hotels). Don't order anything with vegetables if you can help it. Grey broccoli boiled to nothingness, similar carrots, for example. Otherwise the restaurant was ok, but you're going to be eating there... A lot of steps up from the parking to the hotel. Accommodation very basic. Small room, Creaky bed, holes in bedspread, poorly furnished. Handheld shower - no curtain. Tattered towels. The bed was tiny & short which was no good for my 6ft4 husband. Having to leave. Hitel did not serve dinner on the Monday evening other than Demi pension. But recommended another hotel nearby. The pool was ok but a bit tired and towels are extra. Shower fitting over bath but no hook to attach it to, no shower curtain, so difficult to use. Set menu only offered on Sunday night, Nice food but no choice, even though details said restaurant was open on sunday evening until 30th October! Very windy roads to and from, fine in good weather, really difficult in fog/low cloud or arriving in the dark. Don't rely only on gps to find it! Bed was a bit hard.
