Good choice for our stop on the way to Paris from Alsas. We expected to see much more truckers, but there were mostly ordinary tourists. Reception is open 24 hours. Staff speak English and are very friendly. It is also a good budget choice for a short visit to Reims, if you travel by car. Small but clean room. Towels and toilet paper were provided (no shower gel or soap provided). The breakfast is enough for good early morning start for just 4.5 Euro (yogurt, croissant, rolls, 2 types of flake.
alle vurderinger » Ease of booking, English speaking staff (apologies for my not speaking French). Neat rooms, very nicely serviced, quiet neighbourhood. This is my fourth stay, and I shall be back. Many thanks. A pleasure to stay here. Great location, close to the motorway, shops, and restaurants. Staff were very efficient with check-in and breakfast service. The price was very competitive too. Used as transit accommodation on route through France, easy access from the autoroute. Close proximity to to supermarket and McDonalds. Close to AutoRoute. Ideal for stopping on drive south and return trip. Free parking, Carrefour Supermarket and restaurants close by. Cheap, easy to find, clean & tidy, good value, good breakfast for very little money, helpful staff, quiet. Proximity to the autoroute, supermarket and petrol station. A perfect stop over on the way to the Alps. The friendly welcome despite being late because of channel tunnel problems and the cleanliness. It was rather noisy due to some groups of people chatting the whole night at the hotel entrance (our windows were to the parking place). Walls are rather thin and you can hear sex sounds from next rooms. Not a dislike, just a comment that the carpet on the first floor landing requires to be replaced, it is now showing its age. Noise from local delivery lorries unloading at 0400hrs. Nothing. Was fine. Damage to ceiling on top floor needs repair. Smell of smoke in the rooms/corridors. Ground floor room when i booked at the beginning of August as one of us is disabled.but we were allocated a first floor room and when i asked about this i was just told they were full .I was not impressed.i felt as though i might as well not of bothered requesting a ground floor room. Nothing. Some smell of smoke blows back into hotel from entrance. Starting to look as if needs some refurbishment. Breakfast could be better. Rooms vary dramatically. On outward trip room was clean and tidy. On return a different room had dirty walls, stained carpets and no working TV. One of those souless chains situated in a typically French industrial zone. But you pay for what you get. Secure parking?. It was very hot in the room. Uncomfortable mattress. Dirty carpets and walls. No toilet brush or extra toilet roll. Room really small but fine for one night. Although breakfast was adequate, we had to wait several minutes for a free table. Breakfast room is part of reception area with not many tables and certainly not part of a large central atrium. Limited choice of food available, and not readily replaced quickly. Self service and self clearance of table. Carpets and walls sometime stained. bed uncomfortable and quite small level of clenliness could be better -decor of room tatty. With no air conditioning or fan in the room, the heat on the third floor was unbearable. Also there was a problem with the plumbing and the bathroom stank. You can hear everything what people are talking in the hall. Very noisy during the night due to group of irrespective people. There are roadworks all around the hotel which makes access hard. Also breakfast is very basic f. Slightly run down feel. Very small rooms. Despite the best efforts of the cleaning staff (vacuuming and airing) the room smelt strongly of animals and old socks. the rampant wedding party at it all night there on our stay and the room was tiny, the breakfast wasnt value for money. Small Rooms. No air con, rooms very hot. Room 114,very smelly drains,loose bathroom fittings,ceiling paint peeling,well worn sloping mattress,holey bedcover. dirty floors blocked sinks cramped rooms no towels broken/dangerous light fittings only 1 power socket available dirty curtains. Couldn't swing a cat in our family room. Whoever said it's spotless needs glasses. Very grubby and grotty but for the price we paid - what more can we expect?. The room was far too hot even though the window had been left open. The ceiling was covered with insects and we had to ask to be moved, which was a difficult experience as we were originally told there were no spare rooms. Our rooms were so hot that neither family were able to sleep properly. No air-conditioning and only one room had a window that could be opened (10 cm max.). Shower/WC was damp and had a foul smell. The room was absolutely tiny, there were lots of workmen staying in the hotel and the white van engines were starting up from 4am! The carpet was soiled, the walls were marked and dented and there was poo on the wall in the bathroom!. Poorly built noisy smallest room possible had only bad experiance of this chain on this trip. The hotel was classed as Non Smoking throughout however even the reception area had a stale ashtray smell to it. The room was for four people and frankly I have stayed in larger single rooms. The room again had the stale smoke smell , the linen , pillows and towels all the same. We had to wash everything when we arrived at out final destiantion in Italy ! I think I have made the point ! Do not stay here !. I had unfortunately booked this for return trip. It seemed in a worse state than the week before. As it had rained a lot part of the roof next to our room had been damaged and water collected in a bucket. Only stay here if you dont want any sleep or decent facilitys!!.
