Le Berthoir is built on the foundations of a watermill, located in Pilat Natural Regional Park, a 40-minute drive from the centre of Lyon. It features a sauna and a heated, indoor swimming pool with views of the surrounding forest. Each room is individually decorated and has a private bathroom with a shower. A continental breakfast is served daily, and on certain days you can request a 2 or 3-course meal prepared by the hosts with a selection of wines. You can relax at Le Berthoir on the sun terrace by the stream or use the sauna. Massages are also available on request. You can hire mountain bikes on site and maps of local hiking and biking trails are at your disposal.

We booked this Chambres d'Hote by chance and it was a marvellous experience. Patrice and Claudine are the perfect hosts, the setting beautiful and the food, all prepared personally by Claudine, was delicious. I would recommend this to all people who are looking for relaxation and a laid back and welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely go back again if we have the opportunity. Paola, Francesco and Luca.
