Excellent and friendly helpful service. Good breakfast. The hotel bar could also do tea and coffee. A peaceful quiet location and a very pleasant stroll into the town centre. A problem with the shower was immediately fixed. I had arrived at night, and i was given all clear information by e-mail how to get in, then the reception is closed. It is really great.Staff, decor, breakfast, position; all excellent. Room was at the back of the hotel and extremely small. I would have chosen to pay more and have a better room if given the option. Cost, location (15 min walk thru park to old harbour). Excellentmanageress and good English spoken throughout. Very friendly and secureparking. Nice breakfast.Staff were welcoming. Walls must be very thin because there is significant noise from adkoining rooms.our room -badly needs upgrading- no soundproofing - noise from hotels plumbing in our bathroom at all times. Difficult to find, could do with some refurbishment ok for one night. We were in a little annexe, very small beds, double bed sagged in themiddle, poor bedroom furniture, Light didn't work in the shower. Isuspect the main hotel would have been fine. No lift.
